Personal: Christmas Cards

My mum and I do vintage fairs from time to time and, especially in the lead up to Christmas, we get a little bit excited about it! Not only is it a nice way to showcase your creativity and meet like minded artists, but it's also a good excuse to dress up!

I decided to make Christmas cards this year from so old illustrations I drew about a year ago

Personal: This Week

Various personal projects and doodles I've been working on this week:

Project: Glug Poster Brief

We were given a one week brief to enter a national competition (I think it has actually got worldwide now!) to design a poster for an event run by Glug and Inkygoodness.

They gave us a limited colour palette and stated in the brief that we could use typography or image to portray fun and creativity.

After finding a quote by Albert Einstein I created this image as a basis of my design:

I then experimented with few different colour combinations on Photoshop. These two are my favourite.

Personal: Mandalas

I didn't really feel like getting out of bed today but I tried to be as productive as possible...
So I made a mandala out of three of my existing mandala designs!

Project: Ideas

Some first ideas for how my mural might look Very basic at the moment, still trying to decide on a colour scheme and experimenting with scale and fitting the words around each other.
