Our second project(s) of the module are a selection of live briefs, which we have been able to pick and choose 2 from, one of which includes the book Oranges Are Not The Only Fruit by Jeanette Winterson. I chose this brief from the selection as I have read the book and enjoyed the story greatly. Also, I think a book cover is a good challenge.
My initial idea is to create a suggestive image using orange segments and a orange pip.
These are the beginnings of my mark makings and drawings to try and come up with the 'perfect' orange segment!
My main aim is to experiment with as many medias and ideas as possible.
